The Man from Galilee and Easter Week
Join us as we explore the history and archaeology of Easter Week using the Gospels from Matthew, Mark, Luke and John disciples of Jesus.
We embark on a profound journey starting in the Upper Room, tracing the pivotal path Jesus took during Passover. Through an in-depth exploration of the Gospels and supplementary writings, we will delve into the archaeological insights that illuminate this sacred timeline.

Our journey was enriched by exclusive interviews with Roddy Har'el of CMJ, based at Christ Church in the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem. Together, we will uncover the historical and spiritual significance of these locations, offering a deeper understanding of the events that shaped the Easter narrative.

This video is also available as a series of short video covering sections of Easter Week.
Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday

Mark 11:11 And he entered Jerusalem, and went into the temple; and when he had looked round at everything, as it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.
Matthew 21:11 And the crowds said, “This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth of Galilee.”
Luke 19:38 saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
John 12:12-15 The next day a great crowd who had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!” And Jesus found a young ass and sat upon it; as it is written, “Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your king is coming, sitting on an ass’s colt!”
