Exploring the World of the Bible: A New Series of Archaeology & Timeline Talks
Understanding the Bible means stepping into a world shaped by real people, real places, and real events. This year, we’re launching a new series of talks that brings that world into focus through archaeology, historical timelines, and fresh insights into the ancient Near East.
These sessions are designed for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of Scripture — whether you’re a church member, a student of history, or simply curious about the stories behind the text.

What the Series Will Explore
Across the coming months, we’ll be unpacking some of the most significant periods and figures in Biblical history. Each talk blends archaeology, historical research, and clear storytelling to help you see the Bible in its original context.
Joseph: From Canaan to Egypt
We’ll explore the world Joseph knew — from family life in Canaan to the political and cultural landscape of Middle Kingdom Egypt. Archaeological discoveries and ancient records help illuminate the backdrop of his remarkable rise to power.
The Exodus: History, Geography, and Debate
The Exodus remains one of the most discussed events in Biblical studies. We’ll look at the evidence, the competing theories, and the historical realities of life in Egypt and the Sinai. This session aims to bring clarity without oversimplifying the complexity.
The United Monarchy: Saul, David, and Solomon
What does archaeology reveal about Israel’s first kings? We’ll examine the rise of the monarchy, the growth of Jerusalem, and the cultural and political forces that shaped the early kingdom.

A First Look: Our Introductory Talk Is Available Now
To set the stage, we’ve already released a short introductory talk. It offers a taste of what’s to come — a clear, engaging overview of how archaeology and timelines help us understand the Bible more deeply.
This first session is ideal for:
• Small groups
• Churches
• Schools
• Anyone wanting a concise, accessible starting point

Why This Matters
The Bible didn’t emerge in a vacuum. It was written in a world of shifting empires, trade routes, migrations, and cultural exchange. Archaeology helps us see that world with fresh eyes. These talks aim to make that world vivid, understandable, and relevant.

Full details, dates, and access to upcoming sessions will be announced shortly. If you’d like to be notified when new talks are released, keep an eye on this page or join our mailing list.

Two Journeys Into the Bible’s Ancient World
Last year we travelled across Israel and the wider Middle East to explore two of the Bible’s most significant stories—King David and the Exodus.
Searching for King David
Our first expedition took us through Israel in search of the United Monarchy. We visited key archaeological sites, explored the City of David in Jerusalem, and interviewed leading Israeli archaeologists whose research is reshaping our understanding of David, Saul, and Solomon.
The journey ended on Mount Gilboa, the dramatic setting of Saul’s final battle.
The full video will be released shortly.
Retracing the Exodus
We also followed the historic route of the Exodus—from the fields of Goshen, across the rugged Sinai Peninsula, to St. Catherine’s Monastery and the heights of Mount Sinai.
From there we travelled into Jordan, exploring the area where the Israelites crossed the Jordan River into the Promised Land.
Coming Soon
We’re preparing a series of new Timeline Videos that bring these journeys to life through on‑location filming, expert insights, and the latest archaeological discoveries.
Stay tuned as we share what we found.
